Zoldo / Civetta
Wild ridgelines and secluded valleys, ideal for freeride and alpine adventures
Zoldo / Civetta
The Zoldo valley and the Civetta massif offer an authentic Dolomite experience away from the busiest resorts and mass tourism. Known as the valley of the gelatieri, home to generations of Zoldano families who emigrated across Europe to open artisan ice-cream parlours, the area keeps a strong bond with the mountains and its traditions, between alpine huts, spruce forests and sheer walls brushing 3,000 metres.
In winter the area combines modern lift-served terrain in Civetta with quieter, steeper lines in Zoldo, ideal for telemark, ski mountaineering and freeride on snow that's often still untouched. Snow conditions and varied topography make it a great area for technical descents and touring. In summer you'll find high-altitude singletrack, forest descents and panoramic ridge trails that draw mountain bikers and hikers in for long rides and multi-day tours, with the north face of the Civetta, one of the most imposing in the Dolomites, always somewhere in view.

Winter, Civetta & Zoldo
The Civetta ski area features long, well-groomed runs, steep couloirs and excellent freeride terrain, with enough vertical to satisfy even experienced skiers. Zoldo rounds out the area with quieter valleys, classic telemark lines and a strong mountain culture built on family-run huts, small historic lifts and an authentic relationship with the snow.
In Zoldo you can also arrange night outings: guided evening ski tours on skins and moonlit descents that turn familiar slopes into a magical alpine experience under the stars, far from the lights and noise of the bigger resorts. For anyone after quiet and a slower pace, this is one of the most genuine corners of the entire Belluno Dolomites.

Summer, Trails & Mountain Bike Tours
Summer opens up a network of singletrack and high-altitude trails, from flowy routes through conifer forest to long alpine descents and the odd technical enduro section over roots and rock. Views of the Civetta's north face accompany much of the higher terrain, turning every climb into a visual reward as much as a physical one.
Mountain bike tours starting from Zoldo cross the Cadore valleys, panoramic ridgelines and wide meadows still dotted with working alpine huts: ideal for guided rides and multi-day tours, with stops at the huts for local cheese and cured meats before dropping back down.
